Ella Moonbridge BA Hons
Ella’s work is based primarily in land and seascape, reflecting her passion for the natural world, the sea and beach, the farmed landscape and the turning of the seasons
These images invite the observer to contemplate experiences and elements of the natural world. They also represent an invitation to escape and linger elsewhere in the mind, away from the concrete, tarmac and ever-present stress of life.
In contrast, and as a result of taking up dancing, she also paints images of dancers. Becoming increasingly fascinated by the years between 1920 and 1960 her work now reaches into various aspects of those times, through old images, personal memory and the enthusiasm of others she knows.
She has been a professional artist for over 25 years, working as a printmaker initially, then moving into watercolour. Her work now is usually acrylic or oil on canvas and charcoal/pastel on paper.
Ella has had several one-woman exhibitions and participated in various mixed shows. Her work is in galleries in Sussex and Suffolk.
Her work will shortly be available on the internet via mysticalpromotions.com and moonbridgeart.co.uk
